The room had all the essentials including a comfy bed, a nice breakfast, and a terrace, plus the hotel is located in a residential area near popular sights.

The staff are always great and very helpful. The hotel is good for an overnight stay but facilities are limited and it only does breakfast. Salamanca centre is beautiful though with great bars, well worth eating out. A dog walking area is nearby.

It's not far from the City.
They're not dogfrienly. I have recently had surgery and I wanted to use the tourist train to the city quickly as I can't walk. train doesn't allow dogs, so I needed to leave my doggie at the hotel for 30 minutes. They wouldn't let me keep the dog for my half hour alone in the hotel. If I travel with accommodation that accepts dogs and I pay a supplement for it I hope that in a moment of need I can leave it at the hotel with its water and food. I don't have to take the dog underwater to see the city because the hotel doesn't want to accommodate my dog. truth is that this is the first time this has happened to me. place is fine but I'm disappointed. For me it is important that they make it easy for you because in many restaurants, cinemas, theatres even in the tourist train they don't accept animals. Who do I leave my dog with? It's a shame, because nobody tells you first. I only got a message that they accept dogs, I would have to pay a bonus per animal and night! Besides, lady at the reception desk was always watching to make sure I didn't leave without my dog. We are a mess, only explanation is that they had some problem some time ago with the dogs.. cheap excuse.. I travel a lot and this has never happened before.

Location and parking good. A short walk 15 minutes to town centre.
Provision of evening meal. Breakfast poor and very basic. 2 star hotel next door served evening meals.

The staff here were fantastic and really knew their stuff, plus the location is super convenient with easy access to the motorway for a quick stopover and close to both the town center and a hill for a change of scenery.

Fine & tastefully decorated room, with a mini bar fridge, climate control and TV. Great and lovely location with lovely views, near the historic centre, Santander and historic areas.

Proximity to city centre was good, just a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel was clean and efficiently run. It was also good for parking which can be a nightmare within the city.
There was no bar in the hotel and the breakfast left a lot to be desired!
